My Watch Won’t Connect To My iPhone

If you’re not getting and notifications or calls, open your Control Centre and check there is no red cross or red phone with a line through it and the word disconnected showing.

When it reconnects with the phone a green phone icon will appear.

Try the below steps to reconnect;

  1. Ensure your watch is close to your phone and in range
  2. Open Control Centre and make sure that Airplane Mode is off and that WiFi and Bluetooth are on
  3. If they are not on, make sure they are now on or if the phone is in Airplane Mode, turn this mode off.
  4. Restart your Watch and iPhone

If it still fails, unpair and repair your device following the below steps;

  1. On your Watch, go into Settings > General > Reset > Erase all Content and Settings
  2. On your iPhone, open the Apple Watch App, tap the My Watch Tab and tap on your Watch at the top fo the screen. Tap the info icon next to the watch you want to unpair, tap Unpair Apple Watch and tap again to confirm.
  3. Pair your iPhone and Watch again
