Device Does Not Recognise iTunes

If your device is not recognised in iTunes, try these fixes;

  1. Update iTunes to the latest version
  2. Update your PC/Mac
  3. Check your computer security such as virus scan, firewall and malware blocker isn’t causing an issue and stopping iTunes from functioning
  4. Check that the physical cable between the device and the computer is working. Have you tested that it will charge the device from the mains power?
  5. Check there are no obstructions in the charging port of the device blocking the cable connecting the device to the computer
  6. Restart the computer and/or the device itself
